Right? :-) I used to use update_stats from this site. It is shell/sql and doesn't require ESQL/C. BTW only recently Obnoxio put one script for update statistics in IIUG repository, that doesn't require ESQL/C or 4GL. Just to avoid confusion for those unfamiliar with the IIUG site, it's at "http://www.iiug.org", which is different from the informixtips site. They may be mirroring the IIUG archives there, but if so I'm not aware of it. Absolutely! Sorry, I didn't make it clear. The only thing I tried to express is that "old tools are not always bad" and even IIUG site contains some old (and good) ones. Whatever www.informixtips.com contains, is own deal of creator of that site. I used to use one tool from informixtips site and appreciate it. I apologize if created confusion. > They may be mirroring the IIUG archives there, but if so I'm not aware > of it. > > Walt. > > -- > Walt Hultgren > Software Repository Manager > International Informix Users Group > Mailto:software@iiug.org -- HTTP://www.iiug.org/ > Regards Vardan -- Vardan Aroustamian vaar@geocities.com Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.
