There is no limit to the number of users of Online, so you don't need to activate the licenses. It's enough that you have purchased them. I am not sure, but the development version of your engine may contain some software that's not part of your previous runtime version. You may check that by installing it into another directory and see what gets installed (but surley not use anything from this installation, and remove it afterwards). If there are extra software you have to reinstall everything, but use the development engine instead of the runtime engine. Informix also have a small problem with this senario as you now have two engines with two different serial numbers and can use only one of them. They keep track of your support agreament based on this number. You simply have to make sure if you need to call them, to tell them about it if they have a problem. I assume you are aware of the fact that you are running on a very old version with a large number of bugs. You should realy have upgraded to version 7 if that is possible for you. kld@hdk-berlin.de (Klaus Dobrindt) wrote: :I have a RUNTIME-Version of online 6.02 UC1 for :20 users installed. :Now I want to add a Devolper Version for 5 users :on the same workstation.
