oninit command on NT

Hi folks, I am trying to stop and start the OnLine Dynamic Server on NT 4.0 box from command line by using oninit command. First, oninit -iy works well but after all the work done, command line is not brought back. In other words, it waits forever on the command line window after initializing OnLine. Second, standalone oninit command from command line does NOTHING which is supposed to initialize OnLine shared memory. So, is there any alternative commands or any pathces for these. Again, we are running Informix Dynamic Server 7.23 TC1 on NT 4.0 boxes. Thank you. Gursoy YERLI
