How much bts temp sblob space?

IBM Informix Dynamic Server Version 11.70.FC7 I am looking to index all xml tags in a clob space using bts. I estimate that when completed the index will be about 80 Gig. Is there a rule of thumb for calculating how much temp sblob space I will need? The table data will change daily but by less than 0.5% of the total. Is it advisable to keep the temp sblob space after the initial index build or can I drop it?
