4gl and stored procedure

Hi Is it possible to use stored procedure from 4gl?? I have procedure set_user and get_user, first one set up global variable username and get user retrive it from global variable and return. I want to create procedure and leave it in DB, and use it some how from 4gl Thank You Dusan
