Operation I was wondering if anyone out there has had this problem. We're trying to increase the NUSERS parameter in the "shmconfig" file which is currently set to 40. When we try it, and restart shared memory, our sql processes hang. We're using a standard engine and am wondering if this may be the problem. Has anyone increased this field successfully or does anyone even have NUSERS set higher than 40??
