Lewis Check your TERMCAP environment variable. It should be set to $INFORMIXDIR/etc/termcap. It contains an entry for ansi. It works as it supposed to do even in sam, but when I login to informix and go into dbaccess, I got nonreadable chars and can't get out of it. I have to disconnect the session and kill the process later. My supervisor has a terminal emulation sw but that would be my last resort.
