Informix's short table & column descriptors

I've just finished converting 94 tables from an Oracle database schema to Informix. Please please, can we have more than 18 characters for table & column names? It's a real PITA having to do this by hand - even with a good text editor. Especially when you have heaps of PK-FK relations. This is for SE 5.07 on Solaris, BTW. If the limit is higher on Online or a later release of SE, I'd appreciate knowing it. Might have more Orcale databases to convert :-) (Or Progress ones, he mutters darkly.....) Peter Wiley
