Trouble with Sco Unix and Informix URGENT !!!!!!!!!!

Hi, im having trouble with sco unix and informix. The main trouble seems to be to order by command in a query. Need some help fast. if u do have an idea please inform me as soon as possible Many, many thanks in advance

Please provide some more information on your problem. If you are having troubles with an order by in a SQL statement here is a few guides to help you out.... it is difficult to pin point your problem when you do not describe it but here is a wild guess. The problem that you may be experiencing is that you do not have enough temp space to sort your data. Informix uses dbspaces ... or your default temp directory (if no temp dbspace is defined) to sort your data. If this is too small you cannot sort your data using the order by in an SQL query. Here is a few steps you can try. Increase the amount of tmp space (add a new temp dbspace) Try creating an index for your query. Hope that helps. Lloyd AJ Wilson.
