NewEra ViewPoint PRO Floating Pt Error

We encountered the following error while using NewEra ViewPoint PRO with Informix OnLine 5.01 on SCO UNIX 3.2.4.2. "Floating Point - Square Root of Negative Number" ViewPoint just exit itself after the error. These messages are encountered when running the example files from tutorial for the various chapters, and sunset too. The error does not appear when I use DBA-Tools to create the superviews and to look at sunset's databases. I can then use the newly created superviews in my forms in ViewPoint application tools. The error does not appear when I use the local SE engine. Has anyone encountered this error before? If yes, please help me. I would be much obliged if you do so. Thanks in advance.
