When is sql statement cleared from sysmaster

When is the sql statement cleared from sysmaster? I am doing onstat -g ses and onstat -g sql for a session and there is no sql statement shown. Does that mean that this session has never run an sql statement? I am particularly interested as I have a web application front-ending an IDS 9.4 system. It uses tomcat as an application server on the same KINUX system as the IDS server. I see lots of short sessions, but I have a number of sessions that were started hours ago and have no sql statements. regards Malcolm
