Hello all Thank you all for your comments. I look forward to this next edition Joe. To touch on one point brought up on this thread, I agree that from what I've seen/read of the informix manuals themselves, they are very good/complete. It's just that reading a couple of thousand pages to get a full understanding is not my idea of using time wisely. I would prefer to read condensed information that maybe skips lightly over some issues that aren't immediately critical, and I can refer to the manuals when I need this more specific information.
