Using "strings" command on 4ge?

Hello We currently have a compiled 4ge which needs to be re-compiled for a y2K compliance project. Unfortunately we believe that the source code we have is out-of-sync with the executable. We have used the Unix strings command to strip out a list of the modules contained within the 4ge. When we try to compile the program using this list of modules, we obtain errors because, for example, three of the modules contain the same function - 'prog_init'. Firstly, can we expect a complete list of modules from the output of 'strings' ? We assume that the output is accurate ? The syspgm4gl database also suggests that these modules make up this program, but we cannot guarantee its accuracy either. Secondly, I don't think it is possible but is there any way of obtaining any of the original source code from the 4ge? Thanks Stuart Worrall
