shared memory not initializing

Hi All, Can anybody help me. My shared memory not initializing and IDS was working fine before restore and restored was failed in the middle. I have executed oncheck -pr and getting below error. ONCONFIG config file error on element PHYSFILE. Value in reserved page: 30000 Value in config file: 8000 LOGFILES 57ONCONFIG config file error on element LOGFILES. Value in reserved page: 57 Value in config file: 25 LOGSIZE 8000 MSGPATH /informix/sabledb98.log ONCONFIG config file error on element MSGPATH. Value in reserved page: /informix/sabledb98.log Value in config file: /informix/sable_dr.log On IDS log file.... I am getting 18:31:17 DR: DRAUTO is 0 (Off) 18:31:18 Not Enough Logical Logfiles, Increase 'LOGFILES'. 18:31:18 INFORMIX-OnLine Stopped. 18:31:18 mt_shm_remove: WARNING: may not have removed all/correct segments Wed Oct 21 18:33:28 2009 18:33:28 I/O open() chunk 2, pagenum 53, pagecnt 1 --> errno = 2 Most of the information oninit picking from earlier configuration and it is showing errno=2 on most of logical volume which does not exist on the sytem. Can anybody help in bringing the system to the previous state? Thx in advance

It looks to me that either you have ONCONFIG or INFORMIXDIR or both set incorrectly so that you are looking at a different onconfig file. Art Art S. Hi, Check the ff: env variables on informix user before doing the restore. INFORMIXDIR ONCONFIG= should be the original value PATH INFORMIXSERVER Your physical logs and logical logs does not match the backup you are trying to restore.
