You can create temp tables with no log on the secondary. We tried this =
experiment some time back so I dont remember if you can do an INTO TEMP =
(presumably this creates it with logging?), but you can get around this =
problem using:
CREATE TEMP TABLE t1 (...
);
INSERT INTO t1 (SELECT * FROM table);

Hi Chaps,
I cannot seem to create a temp table on the secondary server.
(select * from table into temp table;)
According to the informix manuals it is only possible to create temp =
table
on the secondary server.
The message I get is
229: Could not open or create a temporary file.
131: ISAM error: no free disk space
