MS Access Question

Can anyoone pleaes tell me how to prompt a user before a record is saved? Access has the feature of saving the changed data when the focus leaves the control, but I want to ask the user if they want to save the data or not. My problem is when the user says no they do not want to save the data. How do I prevent Access from automatically saving the data? Thanks for your time.
