I hate to ask a Perl DBD question....but going nuts here. I read the README, some of the notes dir and googled a lot. I guess this is, at least at first a generic question. At the end of "make test" it reports and give 67%okay, 89%okay etc. Out of frustration I installed and it worked for simple Perl::DBI programs... What percentage should I shoot for, is 100% doable? (I would have swore last time I built on a sun, it was 100% passes.) If I am supposed to get 100% I'll repost with mucho more info. Thanks, Stunned Sam

I'd expect 100%, but it might depend a bit on your platform - those extra details matter. If you have IDS 9.x, you might need to suppress some tests if you don't have smart blob spaces, for example. The Notes/environment.variables file discusses these. There are a couple of other tests that sometimes fail - it depends on the versions in use. Those extra details still matter. So, send the extra details - you've read the README, so you know the info that is needed. (I won't be reading this mailing list over the weekend; do me a favour and cc jonathan.leffler@gmail.com, including DBD::Informix in the subject line). -- Jonathan Leffler (jleffler@us.ibm.com) STSM, Informix Database Engineering, IBM Data Management 4100 Bohannon Drive, Menlo Park, CA 94025 Tel: +1 650-926-6921 Tie-Line: 630-6921 "I don't suffer from insanity; I enjoy every minute of it!"
