ONLINE + SAP R/3

Hi all! Being in the phase of acquiring Sap R/3 and Online, I would like if someone knows wich Online type (Workgroup, Dynamic, ?) and version we will buy from Sap. Strangely enough, the SAP vendor cannot figure out wich type of Database he will sell to my company! TIA. Claudio Duffini.
