Question on tbtape, and archive on more than one tape.

Fellow Informix'ers, Have a question about creating Informix archives on tape using tbtape -s. The archive seems to be progressing fine and after some time, it says that about 79% of the archive is complete, and says to label this as tape 1, and looks like it will ask for tape 2. Next thing it says is the archive is 100% done, and it quits. This gives an uneasy feeling about the validity of the archive. I would appreciate responses from anyone in netland having experience with tbtape.
