You *should* be able to do this. I, however, wouldn't.

I would advise that you dbexport, reinitialize and dbimport.

Yep. You'll have to recompile everything to 4gl version 6.x The comms between
the tools and the front end have changed. Your alternative is to use the
relay module, but there will be a *major* performance impact.
I don't know what the latest status of this issue is, but you also have to
remember that there are some subtle differences between 4.1x 4gl and 6.x 4gl.
Examine the release notes *very carefully*.
