Schneider, Cathy Kipp, : and others. Actually, Prentice-Hall has given me a 12/16/98 printing date, so the latest version of the Survival Guide should hit the shelves by Christmas. The book will cover versions through 7.30, with coverage of NT, graphical utilities, and an extensive section on debugging. The CD will include all the scripts, Lester Knutsen's great SMI SQL series, as well as an HTML data dictionary for the sysmaster database. The CDROM will also include a CBT course covering 7.X basics, as well as the Adobe *.pdf DBA and Performance manuals from Informix. The book is probably orderable now, since PH has been selling the book before the printing is finished. Enjoy. Joe BTW.....Anybody else want to hassle Art until he agrees to write a book too? Come on Art, it's your turn in the barrel.... ;) : All these and others, including Joe's new edition, are available from : Amazon.com. : Art S.
