Hi,I had a similar problem with Ids 9.3 on Linux, The problem, in my case, was due to the fact that the new version of linux uses encrypted passwords on SHA512 instead of MD5. You will notice this thing through the file / etc / shadow, passwords encrypted with MD5 have $1 as a prefix, while those encrypted with SHA12 have $6. In linux to force the encryption using MD5 I modified /etc/login.defs file like this: # Use SHA512 to encrypt password.#ENCRYPT_METHOD SHA512 # Use MD5 or DES to encrypt password?
