Yes, you do need an ESQL/C development licence to compile it, and you need an ESQL/C RunTime licence or and Informix-Connect licence on the machine where it is to run (if it doesn't already have one). Is that a problem? (Obviously, the answer is yes if you don't have such a licence!)
