We are not using RDS in this case. However, further research on the Informix TechInfo site revealed that we are apparently being bitten by bug number 35964: "OPEN FORM1, OPEN FORM2, CTRL-C OUT OF FORM2 THEN CTRL-C OUT OF FORM1 GIVES 1141 FORMS ERROR" The page says that the bug was verified in 4GL 4.12UE1, but we have it on 4.11 (the SNI versions give no further subversion number). I can reproduce it under 4.11, it doesn't happen under 4.10. There is no version stated where this bug is fixed, but preliminary tests under 7.20UD1 didn't show this behaviour on my machine.
