Hi Larry. I am not familar with Galaxy hotel system. I searched trial version Informix-Connect(runtime as ClientSDK) at http://www14.software.ibm.com/webapp/download/search.jsp?go=y&S_TACT=&S_CMP=&s=&q=informix. ClientSDK and Connect is no loger exist here. If they use Informix server with Galaxy hotel system, they use Informix-Connect or other ODBC driver. other odbc driver is http://www.datadirect.com/products/odbc-drivers/index.ssp. I do not know datadirect has trial or not. Sorry, I do not know "desktop" version.
