Error 9700 : Routine (length) ambiguous
Has
anyone seen this error before? I am using the length() routime and get an
error saying that there is more than one routine resolving to name length. I
am using the length routime in a simple sql statement like so:
select count(*)
from orders
where length(subscription_no) > 0
TIA.
Length
is for use on character columns(CHAR, VARCHAR, TEXT, BYTE), I
believe?
I receive the error when I use it on serial/integer fields, but it works
on character fields.
