onload vs dbimport

Hi, Could somebody tell me the diference between onload and dbimport please. And what are the advantajes. Thanks

ON-Load deals with binary page images - they must have been created by onunload, on the same version of the software on the same o/s. DB-Import deals with plain text data - which can have been created by a different server version on different hardware.
