dbexport itself is just two ksh (Korn Shell) scripts and a couple of dbspace
remap file samples. Just put the scripts into your path and set them as
executable as desired. As to the pre-requisites, sqlcmd comes with it's own
installation instructions and a configuration script to configure it to your
system. Myonpload if you choose to use it is also just a script, so that's
simple enough. Myschema is part of utils2_ak and the README.1st file and
BUILDING file in that distribution detail any platform specific changes you may
have to make to the 'makefile's. For many sites, certainly any
Sun/Sparc/Solaris systems, it's just make and install the resulting executable.
If you have any specific problems or concerns, please, let me know and I'll try
to help you through it.
