onstat -d showing PD and MD Flags

I am running HPUX 10.20, It is not showing disk failure for the disks that have the PD and MD flags... could this be a false reading? I am running IDS 7.3 UC5. What else could it be?

What else could it be? Check your system logs. There was certainly some glitch that caused the engine to mark the chunks offline. The errno in the online message log may give you some hint also.
