Correct me if I am wrong, but I think >it can be used only for DB Administration . >Ravi... In response to ROM and its' capabilities. I again invite everyone to download and try it. ROM includes, an SQL, Table, View, Trigger and Stored Procedure Editors as well as the Database Explorer, which gives visibility if instances are online. The trigger and stored procedure editors include a template when creating a new procedure or trigger, which is quite helpful in getting the syntax correct. Limitations include - its for WIN NT 4.0 and WIN 95 clients Per the web site - "ROM 2.1 runs against any ODS or OWS server, version 7.1 through 7.23, UNIX or Windows NT (not for use with versions prior to 7.1; not for use with XPS or IUS). " ROM also includes CLI, which is the Informix Connect, and ODBC bundled in, which in itself is a good deal. -- Bruce Norquist Sr. Data Engineer, SAIC Bruce.R.Norquist@cpmx.saic.com
