I couldn't tell you about any interchangability other than I don't think its claimed. Since Sequent has discontinued Symmetry I would hope that you would port to NUMA-Q: we use DYNIX/ptx 4.0 V4.4.2 i386. I got stuck with UNIXWARE when I went to link the runner and could not find references made to _iob,_ctype, and _filbuf. I ran nm on my libc.a and found symbols for __iob,__ctype, and __filbuf. (2 underscores instead of 1) I went through ALL of the system libraries and could not find anything. (to make sure there wasn't alternative libraries) Since ld made it this far I felt as if I got close with the UNIXWARE trial. Is there any way we can get past this issue?? What timeframe / early access exists (for Sequent) ?? We are very excited to do this!! We have 200,000 lines of code waiting! >> 2) Will Informix Web-Enable Dyn 4GL? Yes, in due course. Using the same technology as 4J's. Great news. We want a showcase Intranet ! >Yours, >Jonathan Leffler (jleffler@informix.com) #include <witticism.h> >Guardian of DBD::Informix v0.60 -- http://www.perl.com/CPAN Perl for Informix??? I like the sound of it. I will definitely check out!! dave -
