It's in SQL92, so not an Oracle extentsion (unlike that 'horrible' connect by :) In version 7.3, you'll have to select the derived table into a temp table first and then use that in your query. (version 8 (XPS) supports it directly - I belive, never used it, and version 9 has been covered by Kristofer) It /ought/ to be supported, since the result of any select is just another relvar, but there you go ... > Any good website for SQL standard ?
