Will DataJoiner work with Informix 5.X. If not then has anyone worked around this issue (found another way for these two to communicate?). Also if you have worked with Informix and DataJoiner, I be interested in hearing your opinion on it's performance and manageability. Please reply directly to my email address TIA Cheryl L. Datajoiner 2.1 supports Informix OnLine V5 or V6 via Informix Net V5.03 or higher and ESQL/C V5.03 or higher Cheryl L. Kendricks wrote: > Will DataJoiner work with Informix 5.X. So does that tells me the client portion I must install to use DataJoiner 2.1. Makes sense, since I can not use CLI 2.5 or 2.8. This also tells me that I have to have Informix I-Star (Since it is not bundeled with the engine as it is in Informix 7.X). Someone suggest usage of the Informix Gateway product. So I'm wondering (not the expert here in this area) do I need DataJoiner and the Gateway Product or could I use either one? My attempt is to: allow MVS DB2 4.X with TCP/IP or SNA talk with Informix 5.10..by talk I.E. SQL from the DB2 Mainframe can be created for execution on the Informix Server. The DB2 DB is the master in this case! TIA for any insight you can offer! Cheryl L. In this scenario you _must_ use Datajoiner (or write your own Datajoiner like machine). Ciao Matthias -- stemmler@secco.de In article <36F91271.6FBE0603@notes.heb.com>, "Cheryl L.
