He used the words "wrong" before "bad", thus, obviously he know the difference between them. It is not his mistranslation nor my misunderstanding. > And if anybody knows more about ODBC than [snip] on CDI, I haven't heard from > them. Remember, the articles was cross posted to c.d group as well(i read it from there). He started to talk about using ODBC on the usrnet from May of 1996 while we were already there(in c.d) on talking about ODBC _internal_ long _before_ April of *1995*(i.e. at least one year before him). I still can find my posts on ODBC in c.d group on earily April last year(DejaNews doesn't store articles earily than late of March/95). From his posts on the subject, my conclusion is he has neither indepth internal knowledge on ODBC nor on security. What he does have are some user level knowledge on _using_ ODBC. His knowledge and assumptions on security are based on common sence only and almost all of them are wrong and childish. Because his article already brings the thread out of simply technical discussing but to person attack, I stopped to make any followup and answering to his. Another rule of thumb (besides avoiding to use attacking word)is, an over posted poster(i.e. one who makes too many post on trivial topics and flames on others etc.) usually has no indepth knowledge on the subjects he/she talks. Now, have a look at total number of articles he has made on c.d.i. Regards -g
