Announcing V3 (June 11) of utils2_ak is available now on the
IIUG
Software Repository. This version includes updates to do
dostats.ec
and to myschema.ec. New features include:
Dostats.ec:
For single column indexes now generates an UPDATE
STATISTICS HIGH
without the DISTRIBUTIONS ONLY clause so that the UPDATE
STATISTICS LOW
is not needed and no longer generated unless that single
column was
already updated to HIGH as part of some multipart index.
This should
make things complete a little faster.
Myschema.ec:
Adds complete support for STORED PROCEDURES, TRIGGERS,
all
CONSTRAINT types. Explicit constraint names are maintained
but
Informix generated constraint names are dropped so new names
matching
the tables new tabid will be generated. Fixed a bug in
extent sizing
(was outputing pages rather than KB). Support for dbschema
command
lines has been improved.
