error code -240!
Dear all When I perform Delete SQL command for one table, I often got an error code -240, but there are nothing useful message from "finderr" command, can someone help! Thanks in advance!

Actually the finderr for -240 is VERY helpful. It reminds you that you have to check the ISAM error to know WHY the delete failed. If you are using 4GL for a front-end check sqlca.sqlerrd[2] if ESQL/C is you front-end check the value of sqlca.sqlerrd[1]. Without knowing the value of the ISAM code we don't know why the delete failed either. Art S. Kagel
