Yes, JAM runs with Informix DBi ver well. We're creating portable applications which runs without any changes on UNIX with character mode terminals or on DOS computers through Informix-Net PC and Informix-STAR (under DOS Extender). Now we're porting them to Windows, using JAM Pi. It seems it will be easy. Complaints? Well, JYACC have made one omission when created DBi v.5: they don't allow giving statement 'declare cursor :CURSNAME ...' where CURSNAME is variable. Such a construction was OK under version 4.x. And second error: JAM have not 'line' object. It relies on characters which makes lines, but it isn't a portable method and under Windows it doesn't run at all.
