Searching from Forms

A column in my table is RANK. The data possible in that column is: PV1, PV2, PFC, SP4, CPL, SGT, SSG, SFC, MSG, 1SG, SGM, and CSM. The column is defined as a 3 char data element. In a form, how would I select say all rows with SGT and SSG? I have tried SGT..SSG--that doesn't work (it includes the SP4s. The above data is in order low - high. Thanks!
