Hi I am with Online 7.22 on HP 10.20. Our SysAdm has installed a straight O/S 10.20 and then I have installed Online 7.22. Everything worked fine except restore. Once archive is done, then I dropped that database. And then, I restored from the archive tape. Restore locked up that machine after answering to Y or N to the backup logical logs. No one could log in to it. From what I heard, SysAdm needs to have xdb (c debugger) installed in order to link something to Online 7.22 so SysAdm has installed xdb. The question is that I am not sure how to program restore utilitiy in xdb. Can anyone share the xdb instruction with me? Thanks!
