ODBC Sort not working

When I use a ODBC-Connecting,i.e. with MS-Access, When i want so sort by any field, it get the error-message sort field must be in the Select list. When looking at the SQL-Statment, correctly, all fields are inlcuded. Any idea, what could be wrong. Any new ODBC-Driver or what else could solve the problem
