Primary server blocking when creating indexes on large tables

Hello, We have IDS 9.40.FC2 running on AIX 5.2, also running HDR (data replication). When creating an index on a large table (2 million+ rows), the primary server will block with "Checkpoint Required". Our solution thus far has been to bounce the secondary server, and everything comes back OK. It doesn't happen everytime. We're checking with Informix, but I wanted to see if anyone else has been experiencing this? Thanks, Sean sending to informix-list
