As I understand it, the only stable Informix/DEC combination (before OSF 4) is 7.20.UC4 with OSF 3.2e; when I was contracted to a DEC site, a couple of Informix support engineers said that there were a few DEC OS bugs prior to 3.2e that caused the Informix software a lot of problems.
