It is rather strange because SCO has some market share in UNIX world, and as I know ORACLE moved UW7 in the first (may be second) waives of porting their database servers (I've heard this somewhere, but I'm not sure about this information). About Solaris - it is indeed the actual development platform for IDS, but I think it is Solaris for SPARC, and not all products for Solaris/SPARC get ported to Solaris/Intel.
