I suggest getting NewEra 2.0 and taking a good look at the Application FrameWork. It is written entirely in NewEra (no C/C++, 92 classes) enhancing the existing Informix Base Classes. The SOURCE CODE is included on the NewEra CD; thus allowing you to customize it or to serve you as a teaching tool for building OO frameworks.
