But since you are from HP, you should know about all the bugs in 10.01 and the bennifits of going to 10.20. (CDE and dtksh are wonderful things.) I am running 10.20 and I have just installed 7.21 UD (I think) I haven't had time to configure the online database. I created a JFS file partition for the database, and I plan on skipping the first 1K or so of disk space. (Offset to not overwrite the journal information.) The only problem I had was installing the CLI. The batch process died during the $INFORMIXDIR/etc/brand process. Haven't had the time to open a call on it yet. If I run in to problems, I'll post them. -Mikey
