SHARED MEMORY

Hi All When doing kernel performance tuning for a Informix 5.0 system with 512MB memory and 50GB disk, should the the shared memory be included into the kernel parameter tuning or excluded. Watching the memory use with 'cpqmon' it appears that these calculations should be done excluding the shared memory. Any Ideas ??? -- Polar City Blues; Champagne tastes, lemonade money.
