Does anybody know why I would have gotten this message on one of my IDS instances out of the blue? 19:25:30 WARNING: Next backup of DBspace a_rootdbs must be level-0 backup. About 10 minutes after this, I got the same message for the rest of the dbspaces. There was no reconfiguration done on the server (hardware, software, etc.) and there are no other error messages anywhere. Nothing in the online.log, the syslog, no failed backups. IDS V 9.40. FC4 HPUX 11.11 Thanks for your input.
Just a quick question, does this msg. appeared while restoring database? Without having much info. on ONCONFIG,HDR,BACKUP/RESTORE method, OS KERNEL parameters etc. etc. I wonder if it could be a bug as: 151026 ONLINE - RSAM/BAR MISLEADING MESSAGE ON HDR SECONDARY WARNING: NEXT BACKUP OF DBSPACE DBSPACE MUST BE LEVEL-0 BACKUP Cheers. --- Mary Gregory <mary.gregory@rheem.com> wrote: > Does anybody know why I would have gotten this message on one of my IDS > instances out of the blue? > > 19:25:30 WARNING: Next backup of DBspace a_rootdbs must be level-0 > backup. > > About 10 minutes after this, I got the same message for the rest of the > dbspaces. No, there was no restore occurring, and we also do not replicate. I will go look for some more bug, though. Thanks for your response. -----Original Message----- From: ids-bounces@iiug.org [mailto:ids-bounces@iiug.org] On Behalf Of H.G Sent: Monday, June 11, 2007 2:52 PM To: ids@iiug.org Subject: Re: Online Log Warning Message [9330] Just a quick question, does this msg. appeared while restoring database? What is your usual backup regieme? Do you use level 0, 1 and 2 archives or just level 0. Might be related to multiple levels. Keith
