It means exactly that; something has been checked for consistency and failed. 1. If possible shutdown OnLine, it may not be on disk yet. 2. If it gives the oncheck command, then run it. 3. Run oncheck on the database. 4. Drop and re-create the offending table or index. 5. If all else fails, restore from archive!
