Error -952 on Debian (7.x WE)

I changed from Suse to Debian local with 4Gl , all works perfect. But when I access from outside (via ODBC), DEBIAN is not able to give me Access to my database. (Error -952, unknown user () ) if the user does not exist, then I get the error mesage ... user xxx does not exist. But if the user exists, the username is missing in the error Message
