GNU CC compiler & Informix 4gl on SOLARIS 2.5.1

Hi All: Sorry for bothering you with this again, but it seems with no subject nobody will read my question :-) I am installing Informix 4gl (4.15 UD2)on Solaris 2.5.1 machine. I wonder whether it will work with CNU C compiler, or I have to purchase SPARC C compiler (which doesn't come with Solaris OS)? Is it any specific in C-code produced by 4gl which might lead to problems while compiling with GNU gcc ?
